March traditionally is the month of the Oscars and the yearly Ball of Books (Boekenbal).
Two worlds that are connected on the one hand, since both books and films are cultural products that tell a story. On the other hand, however, these worlds compete with each other. When a book is adapted for the screen, one can wait for the review that states the book was better than the film. This is a much heard cliché and March was the ultimate month to motivate the public to consider this cliché. 120 posters were printed and I visited all publishers, book stores and cultural institutions. The literary world embraced my project. In many different book stores the poster was used for a thematically display (see photos below).
EYE Film Institute Netherlands adopted the poster in their collection.
